I want to share the magic of art making with you!
Making art can inspire us, empower us, and heal us. It can open channels of perception that we might not even realize that are available to us!
You don’t need to know how to “make” art – those are learned skills that we all can learn. What can’t be taught but needs to be felt deep within each of us, is our connection to our deeper selves, our intuition. In making art we create our own story to reflect on, learn from, and connect to our deep selves — our unconscious — and bring this forward.
The Purpose:
These Circles are not designed to teach art, but they are all about reconnecting to your creative spirit in a deep and powerful way. The emphasis is on inviting curiosity, fearlessness, and openness to what shows up, when we get out of our own way.
How wonderful would it be to simply play with: color, paint and/or any other materials you might want to play with, with no pressure? How liberating would it be to connect with your creative expression for the simple pleasure of exploring its possibilities?
Here we will explore the La Luz Process, connect with other women, tap into our creative life spirit, our intuition, and begin to tune into what this energy wants to share with each of us.
The Results:
By opening the door into your creative world, you’ll begin to see:
How by expressing yourself on the page with color, texture and images you discover parts of yourself that have, perhaps, been hidden from view.
Connection to a way of self-expression that isn’t connected to “should’s”, or to those ever present, pesky to-do lists. Instead, a connection to a non-judgmental, free flowing experience, very different from other aspects of our lives.
How powerful doing this work, the work of connection to self and to creative spirit, within a dynamic and empowering community of women really truly is.
